ABSTRACT

This project entitled “Design, Fabrication And Performance Of A Typical Geneva Stop” implies the function of the GENEVA MECHANISM. The Geneva Stop has been designed and fabricated at the RUET laboratories of the DEPARTMENT of Mechanical Engineering, with locally available materials e.g. wood. This project can be used to demonstrate the function of “Geneva Mechanism”. This widely used in different industries e.g. in beverage companies etc. Velocity and acceleration diagram has been discussed in this project. Some velocity & acceleration components have been found from the velocity & acceleration diagram. Some characteristics curves have been drawn from the velocity & acceleration components of the velocity and acceleration diagram.
